Elmo

Elmo is a super star in the Ulrich house. If a laptop is in the room, Aspen will bang on it and wait for the Elmo song to pop up. The iPhone gets tossed if Elmo doesn't start singing.

Sleepy kid

Well... It takes 5 minutes to drive to Meijers from our house. In those 5 minutes, Aspen found time to fall asleep. Now, I am stuck sitting in the car with a sleeping kid. Time to catch up on some reading. If I didn't have so much to get done today bf we leave, this might be nice.

Baby book nook

Trouble

I am doing the dishes this morning, when all of a sudden it sounds like an animal got into the air ducts. I run down the basement and everything loOKs OK. As I am walking up the steps, I hear it again, only louder. I am getting worried that an angry raccoon or bird is stuck in the vents. I grab the phone and when I go to grab Aspen from the playroom, this is what I found....

A walk outside

Aspen and I took a walk outside today. She did great walking with her lion, all by herself. Aspen kept stopping to look at me and smile, or point at something she saw. She must have liked it because she cried when I had to bring her back in for a nap !
